The Apple Gift Card team is looking for a Product Manager to ideate and launch platform initiatives with a specific focus on risk management and compliance. This senior level individual contributor role will be responsible for key aspects of Apple Gift Card and Apple Account product integrity. You should combine a strong sense of user experience, industry knowledge, and analytical prowess. You should be able to simplify sophisticated concepts, articulate and explain your thoughts effectively, ask questions to gain insights and understand different points of view. You will be constantly learning new things across our organization, and you will demonstrate what you learn to find solutions that others cannot see. This is a full-time role located in our Cupertino, CA headquarters.

Description

Your primary focus will be on improving our robust fraud prevention platform, working closely with our cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers. You'll be instrumental in: Redemption Step-up and ID Verification: Designing and implementing innovative solutions to fortify our redemption step-up and ID verification processes. Your expertise will ensure that we stay ahead of the curve in thwarting fraudulent activities while maintaining the utmost user privacy and simplicity. Regulatory Compliance Preparedness: As the landscape of regulations evolves, you'll be our liaison between the compliance team and platform developers. Your work will be pivotal in readiness initiatives, enabling Apple Gift Card to swiftly adapt to new requirements while maintaining our industry-leading standards. Thought Leadership in platform initiatives: Your insights and creativity will be invaluable as we explore new ideas and innovate in the digital gift card space, helping to craft the future of secure gifting and account management experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years proven experience in designing and implementing scalable platform solutions is essential.

  • 5+ years in the payments or financial services industry, with proven experience working on Fraud, Legal, or Compliance initiatives.

  • Fraud Prevention Acumen: A passion for fraud prevention and a solid understanding of payment fraud methodologies are essential. You should have experience in creating fraud detection systems and strategies.

  • Collaboration: Closely collaborate with Legal, Fraud, Tax, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Business Development, and other teams across Apple

  • Thought Leadership: A keen eye for detail, the ability to collaborate effectively, and the courage to challenge the status quo are equally meaningful.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with contacts internally and externally

  • Confirmed experience working on sophisticated, international, large-scale, time-critical projects

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
