Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Internal Audit Recovery Team, the Senior Analyst performs audits mainly related to retail and supports additional teams as requested.

As our Senior Auditor, you execute and understand the nature of the audit project and the root cause of findings. You demonstrate intermediate proficiency across recovery Audit specific applications including query tools and can assist team members with use-based questions. In addition you collect key findings of the audit and draft audit report for review by Management.

Additional Responsibilities for the role:

  • Ability to make key recommendations to SOP audit process or identify other areas of risk during audit.

  • Follows the CVS audit process, execute procedures, understand the nature of the audit project and the root cause of findings.

  • Engages in search agreements for each audit.

  • Act as a liaison between CVS and all business partners associated with the audit.

  • Collaborate with CVS internal and external partners to resolve audit claims.

  • Audit Reporting/Communication- Solid meeting management and oral/written communication skills.

  • Timely dispute resolution.

  • Interacts with various levels of Internal Audit and business line management to resolve issues in a timely manner and to maintain effective communications.

  • Reads and understands agreements and contracts associated with the Recovery audit process. ​

  • Reports related audit findings to audit and business management Audit Team Support

Required Qualifications

2+ years prior experience in a relevant accounting or auditing role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Alignment with the ability to read and understand contracts and agreements related to Recovery audits, and their underlying requirements & obligations.

  • Negotiation Skills/​Problem Resolution​. The ability to negotiate and collaborate with internal & external partners to settle audit claims.

  • Ability to run data analytics to determine if recovery dollars are due back to the organization, based on the agreements.

  • Proficiency in Recovery audit specific applications used in everyday work.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Merchandising etc. or equivalent experience.

This is a hybrid role (Tuesday - Thursday) located in our Cumberland, RI facility

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
