Adecco US, Inc. Material Handler in Cumberland, Maryland

Adecco is seeking a motivated and reliable Material Warehouse Specialist to join our team. In this role you will handle material movement, including loading and unloading trucks, and will be responsible for delivering materials in a customer environment. This role requires forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed. Location: Cumberland, MD

Position Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: $20

Schedule:

  • Initial training on first shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM for 2-3 weeks.

  • Regular schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM, and Saturday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

  • Handle material deliveries in a customer-facing environment, ensuring high standards of service.

  • Perform general warehouse duties, including lifting items up to 35 lbs.

  • Utilize computer systems for basic inventory management and other tasks.

  • Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe footwear.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 0 to 3 years in a warehouse or material handling role, with forklift operation experience preferred.

  • Skills: Basic computer proficiency, ability to lift 35 lbs., strong multitasking skills.

  • Other Requirements: Must be self-motivated, adaptable to shift changes, and able to work nights and weekends as required.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
