The lighting installation technician contractor is responsible for providing lighting installation services on a contract basis. They must have a strong understanding of electrical systems, be detail-oriented, and work efficiently to ensure that lighting systems are installed safely and effectively. We install in Madras, Prineville, Terrebonne, Redmond, and Bend Oregon. Responsibilities: \' Provide lighting installation services to clients on a contract basis. \' Install lighting fixtures, including but not limited to, recessed lights, track lighting, and pendant lights. \' Perform wiring and electrical work to connect lighting fixtures to power sources. \' Replace and repair faulty or outdated lighting fixtures. \' Test lighting systems to ensure proper functionality. \' Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to complete installations on time and within budget. \' Maintain a clean and organized work environment. \' Adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Requirements: \' Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program or vocational training is preferred. \' Previous experience in lighting installation or a related field is a plus. \' Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques is a plus. \' Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \' Strong communication and customer service skills. \' Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. \' Driver\'s License strongly preferred. \' At least 18 years old. \' Mandatory background check. Physical Requirements: \' Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). \' Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. \' Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. \' Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Working Conditions: \' Work may be performed at client locations, both indoors and outdoors. \' Work may be performed at heights or in confined spaces. \' Contractor must provide their own liability insurance. \' Contractor must have their own transportation. Compensation: \' Compensation will be based on an hourly rate, starting at \$20/hour depending on experience. \' Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and insurance. Hours: \' 20-40 hours a week (some evenings and weekends are required)
