Apple’s Instructional Products team is a passionate group that creates the Tips app, user guides, and various other instructional content that help users learn about, engage with, and delight in their Apple products. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative Graphic Designer to join our design team.

Description

In this role, you will work closely with instructional designers to create visually engaging graphics for the web and develop effective design solutions for print materials. - Create screenshots and layered Photoshop files of existing and future software/app Ul to enhance the visual understanding of instructional materials - Create InDesign documents and templates, resize documents based on new trim sizes, reflow content, and set up paragraph and character style sheets - Collaborate with writers and other designers to plan, analyze, organize, and execute assigned projects - Work quickly and accurately to produce consistent design solutions that meet project objectives across the department - Provide detailed design specifications and guidelines for Instructional Products and Localization - Update process documents and procedures - Review and perform quality assurance on all deliverables - Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and priorities

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in print and web design

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign) and other design tools (Keynote, Sketch, Figma, etc.)

  • Proficiency in typography, color theory, and graphic composition

  • Fast, detail-oriented, and accurate

  • An excellent verbal and written communicator-both one on one and in small groups

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Design, or equivalent experience

  • Experience in UX/UI design

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience in illustration

  • Excellent organization skills, calm and productive under pressure

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid changes

  • Highly motivated, able to analyze problems and come up with innovative solutions

  • Experience collaborating with software engineers or working in an engineering environment

  • Comfortable accepting feedback and addressing the needs of the team

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
