Sony Pictures Entertainment Fandom Network Digital First Content Coordinator in Culver City, California

We are seeking a talented Digital First Content Coordinator who is passionate about creating digital video content and leading a content strategy that highlights diverse perspectives and talent across SPE’s AVOD Audience Network. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating engaging content around Sony Film and TV IP for social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok, collaborating with content creators, and a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.

You will become part of a nimble, fast-paced content programming team, focused on driving commercial and consumer growth across the network as it expands. We are always evolving, always learning, and extremely passionate about film, television, and what’s next for digital video.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Digital First Content Director in execution of content strategy for short form videos with a focus on diverse perspectives.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including channel managers, community managers, D&I, marketing, and production, as well as external vendors and creators to ensure video content aligns with brands and objectives.

  • Assist with video production schedules and deadlines as well as creator outreach & coordination.

  • Analyze video performance data to inform content strategy to optimize reach and engagement.

  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, and implement them in our video content

  • Maintain brand standards and legal guidelines across all video content.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of digital media experience

  • 3+ years of video production experience

  • Experience with content development on social media and video platforms, particularly YouTube and Facebook preferred

  • A link to portfolio or examples of your past work

  • Experience and interest in digital content and advertising trends, new technologies and media industry

  • Proficiency in multi-stakeholder project management

  • Strong creative skills, particularly with digital content

  • Attention to detail and organization skills preferred

  • Analytical, research and quantitative skills preferred

  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills

  • Ability to develop relationships and work cross functionally across partners and stakeholders

  • Passion for film, television, and media also beneficial
