• Interacts with the development, programmer, and manufacturing engineer to develop CAD models and engineering drawings to support the production of prototypes, final design, manufacturing, and quality specifications.

• Responsible for the creation of 3D computer aided design (CAD) software models and detailed drawings for development of products.

• Assists engineers with hands-on troubleshooting efforts from production, prototypes, and processes.

• Assists engineers with testing, process development/ process modifications and engineering documentation.

• Develops layouts, engineering drawings, detailed drawings and assembly drawings.

• Takes project from concept to production release.

• Performs maintenance of CAD files in response to engineering changes.

• Interfaces with other engineers to verify that data pertaining to product specification is documented accurately.

• Verifies that the appropriate linkages are established in the Product Data Management system when creating/modifying models and drawings.

• Prepares bill of materials for product implementation into production.

• Possesses to working knowledge of subject matter.

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program

and 0 to 2 years of experience)
