Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

Day to day responsibilities include performing property restoration services with a focus on water damage. You will report to the local office and go to job sites in the region. Property restoration involves responding to fire, flood, or water damage to buildings, working to restore them. Perform various duties including property board-ups, rough and finish carpentry, hanging drywall, and demolition when necessary. Duties will include emergency board-ups, rough & finish carpentry, including framing, trim work, and cabinetry. Also, you will hang drywall, do minor painting, and site clean up. Maintain contact with the Project Manager on each job. Ready to work 40 to 70 hours a week if needed, be on a rotation for on-call work, and will be required to travel as needed. Must possess transportation, have a valid Driver's License. Training will be provided for the rest. Will use computers to enter basic job/project information.

Hard Skills

  • Commercial or residential Carpentry Experience

  • Ability to hang & finish Drywall

  • Basic computer skills (enter data in Excel and use copy & paste function)

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs at a minimum

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cuddy, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Will work at various project sites that are being restored throughout the tri-state area. Will travel in the company truck driven by an employee. Will meet each day at the shop unless the job site is closer, in which case you can go directly there. Will work a lot of overtime and will be on call every other week for disaster calls.
