Eaton Corporation Sales & Marketing Country Manager in Cuautitlan, Mexico

Eaton’s Assembly and Residencial Solutions division is currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Country Manager. This position will be based in our Cuautitlan Site or our corporate office in Mexico City. It requires up to 50% travel within Mexico.

What you’ll do:

The Sales & Marketing Country Manager - Mexico is responsible for directing all sales and marketing activities to achieve performance goals. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing & Sales, you will coach, direct and train a 50 professionals’ sales team to succeed at managing and developing their customer base. You will collaborate across a global and highly matrixed environment leveraging internal and external sales resources to increase our market share.

You will drive strategic initiatives related to sales and marketing with a focus on achieving price attainment goals. You will build and leverage strategic relationships with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume and increase positive customer service.

As a leader you will be responsible to drive that all aspects of budgeting and forecasting for the profit plan. You will conduct major product launches and lead key programs with excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Plan, direct and drive the sales resources to assure that adequate coverage is applied to accounts.

• Understand competitors’ products, tactics, strategy, pricing, and their competitive position in the country.

• Increase business profitability through sales strategic plans align to the divisional objectives. Responsible to meet standard profit goals through price management and profitable growth.

• Create strategic plans as well as become responsible to implement product line initiatives and product launches.

• Identify, analyze, select, and continuously improve the country various channels to market.

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and continuously improve organizational capabilities of sales personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering or related fields.

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience leading successful sales and/or marketing teams.

• Minimum 2 years of Manager of people experience.

• Experience building and leading a sales and marketing function in an industrial manufacturing organization at regional level.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with profit plan responsibility. P&L management.

• Experience establishing new and/or building on existing relationship with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume and customer service.

• Residential and Wiring Devices Products Knowledge.

• Experience managing ERPs. SAP preferred.

• Up to 80% national & international travel availability.
