This is a Test Admin position located in the Crystal Springs, MS area.
Job Summary: This role is a vital member of the engineering team in Transformer Services US, receiving raw test data and compiling test reports. This role will report to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities: Receive and compile transformer oil and electrical test data into a report template. Support basic transformer testing such as winding resistance, turns ratio, excitation, and power factor. Archive test reports and test data to server. Provide technical support to field crews - 24/7, all US time zones. Review and provide guidance for transformer oil test results. Create test scopes in support of the proposal team. Qualifications: Associate degree in engineering or related field with two or more years of experience or alternatively a combination of studies and five years or more of transformer experience. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Knowledge of industry standards - IEEE, IEC, NEMA. Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and compiling technical reports. Initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Up to 10% travel if based in an office; 20% travel if based remotely.
