Lockheed Martin Aviation Electrical Engineer in Crestview, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, SOF

GLSS (Special Operations Forces Global Logistics

Support Services) is seeking an Aviation Electrical

Engineer to support aircraft modifications

on various military platforms in support of our Special Operations Forces Support Activity (SOFSA) Program in Crestview, FL. This program is critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world.

Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the

SOF community and its war fighters with the

best possible systems and equipment anywhere

in the world.

While focus on aircraft is the primary

role of this position, support will also be required

as it relates to the modification of existing

vehicles/aircraft and integrating modified

components (primarily electrical and mechanical)

into various platforms based on customer

specifications.

The electrical engineer will be responsible for:

* electrical design, integration of equipment and

modification tasks

* assisting in multi-functional product

development for ruggedized military processing

solutions, including electromagnetic interference

testing, and platform system integration

* collaboration with the lead project engineers,

chief engineer, and engineering design teams to

ensure that systems meet the Customer needs

and that the resulting product operates as

intended

*development of schematics, cable routing,

removal of existing components and installation

of new RF counter measure systems, lasers,

antennas, transmitters and radios to ensure

product will meet requirements.

The successful candidate will be flexible,

motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD

program is required. The candidate must be an

excellent written and verbal communicator.

Desired Skills:

Experience with SolidWorks and/or CATIA V5 is

preferred. The candidate should be familiar with

Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
