SAIC is looking a Computer Scientist to support the US Navy in Crane, IN .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform data analysis, ingestion and visualization

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, R, Databricks, or Synapse to maintain a data warehouse, and other data products

• Use Power BI, R, Python, SQL, etc to analyze data and implement quality control checks

• Assist other analysts in using these analytic platforms on occasion

• Use GitHub and Microsoft DevOps to implement version control of the created code and to collaborate with teammates

• Present findings, approaches, and processes to the team, the Division, or management verbally and/or in writing

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years experience. Masters degree and three (3) or more years of experience.

• Experience with a combination of Power BI, R, Python or SQL.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, and work well independently and as part of a team.

• Interim secret clearance with the ability to obtain a full secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

• US Citizenship required

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience supporting DoD and/or NSWC Crane
