Naval Sea Systems Command ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in Crane, Indiana

Summary You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Labor and Employee Relations, Human Resource Division, Corporate Operations Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13/GS-14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435). Responsibilities You will serve as a technical expert in Labor and Employee Relations (LER) matters. You will task and direct the work of lower level specialists. You will serve as a management consultant/advisor in support of all LER programs, regarding applicable laws, regulations, policies, and processes. You will make recommendations to executive leadership, senior managers, and supervisors related to conduct and performance issues as well as various union matters. You will manage projects to implement new initiatives, program/policy changes, and process improvements. You will collaborate with others internal to Crane and/or across Warfare Centers and NAVSEA to address common concerns; share information, processes, and practices; and respond to data calls. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advice or recommendations on employee or labor relations programs to ensure policies are consistent with applicable laws and regulations for an organization.
