Naval Sea Systems Command ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in Crane, Indiana

Summary You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Integrated Product Support Branch of the Strategic Systems Hardware Division of the Global Deterrence Defense Dept of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will provide leadership in the development of the project Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) and Product Support Strategy (PSS). You will provide leadership in the development and finalization of logist ics processes and procedures. You will provide identification of performance issues and recommend corrective action to achieve resolution. You will provide input to the product (logistics) support portion of the program’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). You will support the development of the Logistics Requirements and Funding Summary (LRFS) as required in support of fact finding. You will assist the IPS Functional Lead with the development and execution of the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated resource requirements for logistics-related tasking. You will act as the IPS Branch SME at all Technical Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs ), and other various meetings, providing updates to senior level program management on readiness, performance issues, and status of ongoing actions. You will review various project plans and documentation for IPS input. You will serve as a member of the Project Risk Management Board, Configuration Control Board, and various Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating and evaluating Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements utilizing analytical, evaluative or problem-solving techniques to develop and deliver required system support for a weapons system lifecycle.
