This SeniorProject Managerposition will be managing projects within the ESS Engineering Project Execution and Delivery organization where we design and build operating plant NSSS modifications and support operating plants. The PM will be responsible for all project management processes on low complexity projects, or on a portion (i.e. work package) of a medium complexity project. Requires leading small teams (average <15 team members) which may include project controls. As experience and capability increase, may be assigned to several low complexity projects or medium work packages simultaneously. May serve as a Technical Inputs Lead for the low complexity proposal projects as assigned.

Example project disciplines include: Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, Innovation/Product Development, and Process Improvement. All project management is performed in accordance with the established Westinghouse policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.

Your Day to Day Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines. Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members as needed to complete the work. Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process. Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status. Maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members. Properly close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work. Utilize interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and other stakeholders (e.g. internal management) to facilitate successful project completion as well as identify opportunities for additional business growth. Identify, assess, and implement improvement opportunities which will add value.

Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in applicable disciplines include: Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline. Preferred - Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business. Familiar with the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge. Required Skills/Competencies: Communication Driving for Results Planning and Organization Strategic Thinking Teamwork Strong interpersonal skills such as effective verbal and written communications, ability to lead team members, able to develop relationships with internal stakeholders, able to make decisions and carry out multiple tasks as assigned with minimal guidance from supervisory project managers and mentors. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge and skill of project scheduling and cost management. Demonstrated ability or understanding of the transformation of data to information for visual reports; database concepts in order to manage data within systems; the interaction of company functions that are touch points to projects (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.). High-quality presentation skills. Will be expected to com lete assigned training in Westinghouse Systems, Procedures, and Policies applicable to assignments. Why Westinghouse?
