The Assistant Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for supervising and directing security measures necessary for implementing the applicable requirements of the NISPOM rule, 32 CFR 117 and the related USG security requirements of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) and classified information.

The Assistant Corporate FSO will create, modify, monitor and implement security policies and procedures in coordination with government agencies and Westinghouse Government Services LLC ("WGS") and be required to workdirectly to support and coordinate several Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DOE) programs ensuring compliance with government, contract and company security policies and procedures.

The Assistant Corporate FSO manages local access restrictions, which will include scheduling and placement of workers to ensure programs are segregated in the space. and coordinates/conducts/creates initial and on-going security training and education briefings.Leads U-NNPI security for programs in the PA and Northeast areas.Work with the Corporate FSO and the security team for audits/inspections.Administers routine aspects of industrial security programs and supports the DoD/DOE Program in compliance with all applicable government security regulations, orders, directives and contract indicated requirements.Documents and oversees the certification and accreditation and daily use of a DoD Restricted/Closed Area once it is approved for use.Works as a team member with all security personnel. Works with Program Management to support the security needs of programs.Works with the Corporate FSO to ensure that security, export control and IT compliance requirements are met, trainings and procedures are comprehensive.

This position is an ON-SITE position at 3000 Westinghouse Drive, Cranberry Township PA, 16066. There may be intermittent travel up to 20%.

Your Day to Day: Create procedures for and then manage the security of a DoD Restricted/closed area and associated controls of the branch facility. Create and work to implement security procedures. Create training to security plans and procedures and utilize communications such as the monthly company newsletter. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Program Management, Program personnel, Program Partners, subcontractors/vendors and WGS corporate security leadership. Use federal and company systems and other special access sites to process employee clearances, maintain visitor control and confirm access rosters. Provides new employee security briefings, exit interviews, and debriefings including briefings and access agreements for special category materials. Maintains local required postings and labelling. Responsible for utilizing the Security Classification Guide for review of classification/compilation, ensure program personnel review for compilation, tracking the government customer pre-approval prior to any transmission of information (regardless of level). Handle reportable security infractions/violations in consultation with the corporate FSO, Program Management and Corporate Management for concurrence. Reporting requirements must be met on time and through appropriate channels. Conducts self-inspections in preparation for security audits. Participates and is responsive to audits. Prepares written reports of surveys, inspections, non-compliances and violations. Maintains all security documentation nd files in accordance with government requirements; including maintaining accountability for a variety of sensitive and classified information according to separate regulations imposed upon them. Prepares necessary paperwork in support of federal government investigations or annual visits and meets with federal government representatives upon request. Performs marking of data at the CUI and classified levels. Works closely with the ISSM concerning accreditation and reaccreditation of classified IS Systems to include user access, auditing, configuration management, documentation, and training in accordance with USG policies and regulations. Required to respond to local alarms. Schedule timing and coverage of closed and sensitive areas. Training with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency ("DCSA)", Center for Development of Security Excellence ("CDSE") must be kept up to date. Training completion required within 1 month and 6 months of start. Training requirements for DOE training. Required to complete all applicable training and qualify as the COMSEC custodian. Perform other qualified duties as assigned. Ensures, that all required daily checks are conducted, access restrictions (including visitor policies and random checks are conducted), accountability is maintained.

Who You Are: Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in addition to experience below. Ten (10) or more years of experience (can be a combination of related experience in industrial security and the U.S. military) supporting classified program security. Completion of the CDSE FSO training for possessing facilities within 6 months of hire and Insider Threat training course within 1 month of hire. Additional DOE course will also be required. Maintain strict confidentiality in everything related to the security of WGS and the ultimate customers of WGS. The ability to maintain positive relationships with those we provide security oversight to, as well as within WGS's corporate security department.
