POSITION: Lead Caseworker

DUTIES: The Lead Caseworker position provides initial screening and assessment for services and assesses clients for safety, as well as performs administrative and back-up supervisory duties as support to manager. Duties of this position include initial assessment and referral; interacting with families, assisting clients with navigating the system and recording documentation or providing support in community. Program areas served include, but are not limited to: screening, intake, and ongoing casework for child and adult protection and foster care.

Education & Experience Required/Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields; and, Two to five years of full time professional social casework experience acquired after the degree; one of those two years must be an assignment at the journey level within of Social Services which has resulted in acquiring the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid Colorado driver's license.

Qualified applicants are required to take a written test in Craig, CO.

WAGE: Pay is $26.73 - $33.41 per hour.

SHIFTS: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

JOB SITE: Craig, Colorado.
