Job Title: Mechanic/Welder

Job Description

In this position, you will assist with truck maintenance, construction rental equipment, and customer equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will have small engine knowledge and welding experience. You will also interact with clients daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist with truck maintenance

• Repair construction rental equipment

• Repair customer equipment

• Utilize small engine knowledge

• Perform welding tasks

• Interact with clients

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of welding experience

• 2+ years of small engine maintenance

• Experience with welding techniques such as Mig and Tig

• Knowledge of blueprints and fabrication

• Automotive repair skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years in the construction industry is preferred but not required

Work Environment

You will work in a non-climate controlled shop. The shift is from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toe boots, and appropriate work attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
