Job Description

Possess a working knowledge and experience with labeler operations; watching for jams and effectively threading wrap to prevent downtime due to error. Perform filler and filler line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner. Make adjustments to filler timing and filling, and check mat as needed. Prepare equipment for the next run, including size changes as needed. Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput, and troubleshoot as required. Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product. Prepare case labels and review product labels for accuracy to ensure boxes and bottles are coded correctly.

Work Environment

Expected to work in a manufacturing and production environment, which may include exposure to high/precarious places, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, odors, and fumes. The environment can be loud. Candidates working in Blending will work outside year-round, climb on railcars, and attach large hoses to railcars, which is very physical. Candidates in Packaging will work indoors; it will be very hot in the summer and normal temperature in the winter. They will inspect packaging machines, make minor adjustments, and perform lock-out tag-out procedures. Team Size: about 90 people on each shift. Dress Code: Shorts or jeans, a clean work shift, and steel-toe (or composite) shoes. Shift Differentials.
