TEKsystems Security Assessor in Costa Mesa, California

TEKsystems is seeking a 100% remote Security Assessor for a 3 month contract with potential to extend.

Description:

  • Conducts security assessments for management to test the effectiveness of controls and operations.

  • Experience leading control testing teams or collaborating within the team to perform design and operating effectiveness testing of information security controls.

  • Analyzing controls from: planning, testing, reviewing the quality of the work for tests for accuracy and timely completion, identifying and documenting control deficiencies including root causes, risk descriptions, consistent issue ratings and recommendations for improvement, and assisting with Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and management policies or procedures.

  • Prepares reports of findings and recommendations for management and the testing stakeholders, including the socialization of any findings.

  • 3- 5 years of experience required.

  • Working in a fast pace environment: 60 tests in 3 week sprint
