Ensures that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, and authorizations are secured when applicable. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a Hospital or Physician Office setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Must possess ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to multi task and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong oral and written communication skills are required in dealing with patients, co-workers and the public. Excellent telephone etiquette skills are required. Basic computer skills, understanding of Microsoft windows environment required.
