Minimum/Required Qualifications Must be able to follow policies and directives; Must be able to critically think and solve problems; Must be willing and able to work in a professional manner to embrace and promote diversity; Must be able to speak clearly and to be understood using a two-way radio system; Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; Must be willing to attend and successfully complete work-related training if offered; Must successfully pass a comprehensive background assessment that includes: criminal history check; driving record review; medical examination; psychological evaluation; drug screening; and an inclusive appraisal of work history Position Duties 45% Security Patrol Services Patrol parking lots, buildings, and grounds; report criminal activities as observed to campus law enforcement personnel for investigation. Provide building access. 45% Public Safety Services Enforce all university rules and regulations within guidelines and limitations established by the university and public safety administration. 10% General Public Safety Assistance Assist campus law enforcement personnel in presentation of crime prevention programs and projects on campus.
