Demonstrated ability or significant potential for excellence in teaching. Scholarly or professional background in aerospace engineering. Proven oral and written communication skills. A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and inclusion. Additional Minimum/Required Qualifications at rank of Associate Professor (Practice): Demonstrable curricular or pedagogical innovation in engineering education or technological or practice innovation in the aerospace industry. Experience leading curriculum development in a collaborative manner with other instructors or experience leading a professional engineering team in the aerospace industry. Scholarly activity in fields related to aerospace engineering or mid-level managerial experience in the aerospace industry. National/international record of achievement in research, instruction, and/or professional service activities commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor.
