POSITION: Swim Aide

DUTIES: Assists with the teaching of students in the correct application of swimming skills.

Assures the safety of all students at all times.

Assists lifeguards with assigned duties such as monitoring the pool and swimming lesson students safety and appropriate activity.

Assists with routine maintenance and cleaning, (ex.: cleaning locker rooms, organize storage areas, sweeping the pool and maintaining restrooms.)

Attends staff meeting and in-service training.

Completes records and reports.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Employer will train.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Be 15 years of age or older. Ability to perform moderate physical work and to lift up to 50 pounds and to occasionally carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, sit, twist, reach, bend, grasp, kneel and perform a variety of similar body movement CPR and First Aide may be required within 6 months of employment.

WAGE: $14.42 per hour

SHIFTS: This is a part time seasonal position; approximately 20 hours per week.

JOB SITE: Cortez, CO
