Actalent Right Of Way Agent in Corpus Christi, Texas

Job Description:

  • Seeking a dedicated Transmission Right of Way Agent to manage and coordinate a portfolio of transmission projects at AEP.

  • Responsibilities include managing project scopes, budgets, and schedules, directing right-of-way vendors, and interfacing with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Knowledge of GIS Mapping systems, real estate values, and contract law is crucial.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Frequent travel to Southern TX and annual travel to Tulsa for meetings.

  • Must reside locally in or near Corpus Christi, TX.

  • Not a field position but involves managing multiple projects or program areas within a matrix team environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associates degree plus 3 years related experience OR Bachelor of Science degree plus 2 years' related experience.

  • Related experience can include work in project management, business management, construction management, law, real estate or electric transmission and/or distribution right-of-way.

  • Possessing a professional certificate (i.e., IR/WA, SR/WA, PMP, etc) and prior experience in a leadership position and/or project management a plus.

  • Candidate must be experienced in creating scopes, budget and schedules, and manage direct project teams comprised of non-direct reports of contract resources.
