As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of US and International tax reporting, compliance, and planning within the organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as coordinating tax audits and providing innovative tax planning strategies. This role requires expertise in both sales and use tax and income tax provision work. The Tax Manager will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Accounting. This is a new and important role providing a great opportunity to help grow the tax function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all tax reporting and compliance, including federal, state, local, property, and other applicable taxes.

  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

  • Interface with external tax advisors as necessary.

  • Work closely with the operations teams to provide guidance on sales tax matters.

  • Work with operations teams to provide research and guidance on various international tax considerations.

  • Manage tax audits.

  • Facilitate quarterly estimated and extension income tax payments.

  • Improve processes by implementing best practices.

  • Support various special projects, M&A, and assist with ad hoc tax assignments as needed in all areas of tax, including assistance with research & development studies and tax notice correspondence.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree or CPA designation is preferred.

  • Proven work experience in tax compliance.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel
