We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Use Accountant in Anaheim, California. This role involves handling sales tax returns, research, and audits for multiple states, as well as other general accounting work. The successful candidate will join our team in the manufacturing industry and will work on-site at our location.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process sales tax returns for multiple states

• Conduct thorough research related to sales tax issues

• Handle audits related to sales and use tax

• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed

• Ensure accurate record-keeping of financial transactions

• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to sales and use tax

• Handle fixed assets related tasks as required

Requirements

• Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Sales and Use Accountant role.

• Proficiency in Sales and Use Tax is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is expected.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
