Role Purpose

  • Develop and maintain an information management process for WPS that is accessible and user friendly

  • Lead our division information and data management strategy and communications

  • Develop and provide training to our internal staff, employees and customers

  • Oversee an internal audit and sustainment processes

  • Centralize legacy data and enable access to those in need

  • Lead and manage the transition from hard to electronic drawing storage

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Process, Operations, Compliance and Sustainment of our WPS:

  • BIM information management program

  • Gordian database and FCA process

  • Department SharePoint sites

  • Engineering Drawing and Documentation Standards

  • Coordinate and develop division standardization to include:

  • Managing division level SharePoint site

  • Evaluate and develop new alignment and enhancement opportunities within:

  • Gordian, Maximo, OneDrive and Planview

  • Deliver training for individuals on platform usage when needed

  • Maintain system licenses and updates

  • Manage system training and new capabilities

  • 5S and transition our legacy documentation to a centralized easy to access location.

  • Lead group communications and planning to include but not limited to:

  • Monthly division strategy team updates

  • Develop and maintain a three-year plan that aligns with our division maintenance and Maximo strategies

  • Set yearly team objectives. Drive to completion and continuous improvement.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • AAS/BS Degree with 8+ years of experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Facility Maintenance, Engineering, and leadership

  • Strong people skills. Able to interact at all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to develop strategies & vision to compliment plan goals and objectives to achieve business needs through people

  • Ability to manage or coach others to manage projects, deliver results

  • Demonstrated process development for repeatable results and sustained improvement.

  • Able to initiate and manage multiple tasks and projects as necessary

  • Excellent M365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Maximo, Gordian, and SharePoint skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Familiar with and experienced in Corning facility buildings and campuses

  • Familiar with and experienced with standard facility systems and equipment

  • Knowledge of Planview and experience with managing capital and expense

  • Experience with documentation management and systems.

Travel Requirements (please note if international):

  • Travel within the Corning valley area to Corning facilities required.

Hours of work:

  • 8am – 5pm, 40+ hours per week, Onsite required

  • Flexibility required to accommodate interactions with operations

The range for this position is $121,756.00 - $167,415.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
