Digital Transformation Director
Overall Summary
Digital Transformation of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations & Maintenance Industries. Experience preparing Digital strategies and following through with them considering budget, schedule, quality and sustainability. Providing Digital Solutions to clients. Minimum 15 years’ experience preferably in the Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries. Excellent communication skills required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive Engineering, Construction and Operation & Maintenance Digital strategy for clients, specifically Aramco
Develop implementation plans for design, engineering, planning and construction that consider project-specific requirements, timelines, and budgets. Align plans with the overarching mission and objectives, ensuring a clear roadmap for achieving KBR goals.
Develop and be accountable for the digital transformation approach for the delivery of KBR Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on design, engineering, planning, Supply Chain and construction.
Liaise with Clients to develop a digital execution strategy to support their ambitions with their professional teams.
Work across all interfaces to provide leadership and direction, resulting in collaboration across the organization and departments.
Develop Digital Object Model approaches to support supply chain engagement at scale, working alongside the broader team.
Deliver external visibility for KBR in the global market and present findings at global industry events.
Manage roles related to Information Management, IT, Engineering Systems, Digital Twin, Cloud and Automation
Develop technical standards and implement plans and objectives for the department in an effective and innovative approach.
Incubate and leverage relationships with academic institutions, research partners, hardware / software vendors and tech startups.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence. Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to ensure the successful execution of the KBR strategy.
Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles to ensure successful project execution.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of Digital Delivery on project timelines, costs, and environmental footprint.
Regularly monitor and report on progress to leadership.
Leverage knowledge of latest advancements and trends such as AI

Qualifications & Years of Experience:
Minimum MSc in (Engineering) or related field; MBA degree preferred. Minimum 15 years’ experience

Able to deliver planned strategies while maintaining client relationships.
Experience with Digital Twin
Experience working with Cloud providers
Experience integrating multiple software’s
Strong working knowledge of digital design, engineering, planning and construction environments.
Strong problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator
