Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be proficient in blueprint reading and experienced in building tightly toleranced assemblies. You will utilize your knowledge of calipers and micrometers to build machines that make chips for electronics and medical devices.
Responsibilities
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble medical or chip-making equipment.
Read and utilize blueprints or schematics to assemble machinery to precise specifications.
Work closely with a team of 1-2 other assemblers, requiring strong communication skills.
Perform tasks that involve standing, bending, reaching, and squatting throughout the day.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Experience with tight tolerance assemblies.
Knowledge of calipers and micrometers.
1-2 years of previous assembly experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in assembly work.
Experience with power tools and hand tools.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, climate-controlled facility. The hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Some overtime may be required during the week and occasionally on weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntersville, North Carolina.
