The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and improving our ERP solutions environment by utilizing their expertise in SAP, APO, Kinaxis, and other similar technologies. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience in master data management and will be able to develop and implement solutions that streamline planning processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • As the Planning Tools & Master Data Expert with a focus on Business Transformation, you will play a critical role in driving the evolution of our master data management practices to support our business transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across various systems and processes, while also contributing to the overall transformation efforts of the organization.Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Governance and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive master data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency.

  • Define and execute a strategic roadmap for master data management aligned with the organization's business objectives and transformation goals.

  • Data Quality Assurance and Management:

  • Establish robust processes and controls for data quality assessment, cleansing, and enrichment to maintain high-quality master data throughout its lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate data quality issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Systems Integration and Optimization:

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to optimize master data structures and configurations within SAP, APO, Kinaxis, and other relevant systems.

  • Lead the integration of master data across disparate systems and platforms, ensuring data consistency and alignment with business processes.

  • Business Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through effective master data management, driving efficiency gains and cost savings across the organization.

  • Work closely with business units to understand their master data requirements and develop solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and decision-making capabilities.

  • Change Management and Training:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on master data management, providing guidance and support to business users and stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate users on best practices for master data maintenance and governance, promoting a culture of data stewardship and accountability.

  • Other main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, implement and maintain planning tools and solutions that optimize inventory and supply chain operations.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement in planning processes and supply chain operations.

  • Manage and improve master data management practices to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to other departments within the organization, ensuring that best practices are followed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions that address business needs; understand business requirements and translate them into effective system integrations.

  • Develop comprehensive integration strategies, considering data consistency, security, and system performance.

  • Customize and enhance existing systems to meet evolving business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, maintaining system reliability.

  • Develop training materials and provide training to users on planning tools and solutions.

  • Participate in system upgrades and migrations, providing expertise in planning tools and solutions.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in planning tools and solutions. Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in BI and supply chain analytics.

  • Lead the integration efforts for various systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange between applications such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other critical platforms.

  • Customize and optimize integrated systems to streamline processes, including production, quality control, and supply chain management.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand specific business requirements and translate them into effective system integrations.

  • Plan and execute validation and testing processes for integrated systems, ensuring that operations remain reliable and compliant.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for validation protocols and procedures

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, supply chain, and business analysts, to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for integrated solutions.

  • Lead integration initiatives involving SAP, APO, Kinaxis and other systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between these platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in planning tools and solutions with a focus on SAP, APO, Kinaxis or similar technologies.

  • Proven track record of implementing planning solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Extensive experience in master data management practices.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with system upgrades and migrations is a plus.

  • SAP certification is a plus.
