Hiring a field research assistant at a well-known agricultural company in Corcoran, CA!

Summary:

• This position will be performing field and greenhouse activities at the Station, such as (but not limited to): planting, applying pesticides, applying fertilizer, harvesting, and processing relatively small samples of Cotton.

• The safety and quality of the processes and products are in our culture.

• This position will be key in maintaining those high standards we cherish.

• All main activities will be done at the station with low travel requirements outside.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or scientific related field.

• Field, greenhouse, and warehouse experience, such as pest management, planting, harvesting, filling and sorting seed packets, crossing, will be preferred.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is desired.

• Demonstrated excellent communication/personal interaction skills to foster teamwork, enhance a positive work environment, and effectively develop strong internal and external working relationships with a diverse group of people, will be valued.
