Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania. This role will be involved in the preparation of tax returns and financial records. The hired candidate will also be expected to utilize various accounting software systems and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns accurately and within the given timeframe

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as Drake Tax Software, Intuit ProSeries, Lacerte Tax Software, and Microsoft Excel

• Maintain and update financial records regularly

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally

• Handle deductible and expense reporting tasks effectively

• Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to your work

• Work closely with other team members and collaborate on tasks when necessary

• Ensure all tax documents and financial records are stored securely and confidentially

• Assist with the training of new staff on tax preparation procedures and software

• Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures related to tax preparation. Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Tax Preparer

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with Drake Tax Software is a necessity

• Knowledge of Intuit ProSeries is mandatory

• Must have skills in using Lacerte Tax Software

• Microsoft Excel skills are required

• Must have strong Customer Service skills

• Understanding of Deductible and Expense Reporting is necessary

• Ability to manage Financial Records is essential.
