The Biomed Supervisor ensures a professional and service-oriented work environment by monitoring performance, motivating and developing their team members to deliver excellent customer service and achieve required performance objectives. The Biomed Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Biomed Manager in coordinating team and workflow related activities. The Biomed Supervisor must be well-versed in service offerings, organizational procedures, and OneTrack technology and reporting.

Current Schedule: 9:30 am to 6 pm ET

Specific Responsibilities generally include but are not limited to the following: Manages a team of associates as well as their own personal duties. Provides training for new associates on departmental and McKesson policies, procedures, and administrative tasks. Develops working relationships that support the growth and success of each team member and the department. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of all policies, procedures, and processes and ensures associates are aware. Interprets these for the team, as required; investigates and applies policies and/or leverages McKesson resources to address departmental questions. Supports the Biomed Manager with the development and execution of policies and practices; responds according to policy direction at all times and seeks assistance with unusual situations and/or non-adherence. Communicates team status to Biomed Manager on a regular basis. Provides regular feedback to the Biomed Manager regarding quality, operational, technical and/or process issues which involve a program, team, or individual. Recommends resolutions, corrective actions and/or follow up. Engages other resources as needed. Monitors performance metrics on ongoing basis within their respective area. Oversees the scheduling and day-to-day activities of the team and allocation of resources to ensure effective and efficient workflow in collaboration with the Biomed Manager and peers. Uses and continuously evaluates processes that best meet our customer's demand for service, patient safety needs, contractual obligations, operational standards, and the equitable distribution of workload among the team. Demonstrates Creative problem-solving skills to find solutions. Collaborates with the Biomed Manager and other Supervisors, to analyze performance, attendance, and metrics on a regular basis. Supervises, coaches, and evaluates the performance of the team including establishing goals & objectives and completing quarterly performance reviews in accordance with McKesson's policies. Motivates team to achieve departmental and business goals including, but not limited to, service level metrics, program and departmental financial targets, and customer satisfaction objectives. Participates in continuing education sessions as required. Articulates an understanding of the different programs, including contractual obligations, operational metrics, and service level standards, and coaches the team to the same understanding Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written) with internal and external customers and stakeholders; makes good decisions based on a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization and prom te harmony amongst team members, other McKesson employees/divisions, and external stakeholders. Consistently acts in a professional manner and serves as a role model for associates. Ability to reflect and receive feedback on leadership behavior and modify when required.

Requirements: 2+ years of relevant experience

Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills Excellent communication skills - should have great interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Energetic self-starter with a passion for supporting customers Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. Our Base Pay Range for this position $68,000 - $113,400
