Robert Half Account Manager in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Account Manager in the manufacturing industry, located in Pennsylvania, United States. As an Account Manager, you will be expected to build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers, provide technical support, and prepare sales orders and quotations. You will also be tasked with monitoring and improving quality results, developing sales strategies, and staying updated on industry changes and new products.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
• Provide technical support and product advice to customers
• Prepare accurate sales orders and quotations
• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, fax, and email
• Update and verify information in company databases
• Contribute to the improvement of quality results by following company standards and recommending process improvements
• Stay updated on changes, new products, and developments in the industry
• Work closely with various departments such as Operations, CAD, Shipping, Sales (outside), Finance, and Management
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Requirements • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry as an Account Manager or similar role is preferred
• Proficiency in Inside Sales is necessary
• Comfort with making Inbound and Outbound calls as a part of daily duties is required
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients is needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Familiarity with CRM software and Office Suite is necessary
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts simultaneously is needed
• Understanding of market research methods and analysis is beneficial
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets is preferred
• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events is required
• Excellent time management and organization skills are necessary
