In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Join an experienced and well-rounded IT SAP Applications team, where all individuals are expected to collaborate and assist each other to create innovative, all encompassing, stable SAP solutions that meet our customer’s needs.

  • Build globally compliant SAP Logistics solutions that account for Carrier specifications, Customs requirements, Consolidated shipping practices, and International shipping documentation policies, in order to ensure customer on time delivery is fulfilled.

  • Work with your associated Logistics Business Process Owner and Trade Compliance teammates to properly diagnose and estimate work on a global scale. Turn business requests into vendor SOW’s, and ultimately finished solutions.

  • Help support an active incident management track, supporting SAP plants and shipping points in the U.S., Europe, and APAC. Identify root-cause and solve incidents in a timely manner to meet SLAs. Self-managing their ticket backlog to ensure little aging.

  • Work closely with partnered-SAP enhancement solutions & specifically designed code/name spaces, like ERPIS’s Ship-ERP. Develop expertise in partner SAP design and business process to ensure all defects and enhancements are properly investigated and communicated to all parties. Accountable as a liaison between the partner and business stakeholders. Comfortable managing the partners work, driving results and reporting progress in an accurate and timely manner.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT configuration experience in SAP Logistics and Supply Chain Enterprise Structure, and/or other leading logistic solutions as well as supporting new enhancements, break/fix, production support.

  • 5+ years of experience working within the various Tcodes that make up the Supply Chain and Logistics SAP modules required, including working in conjunction with MM/WM, SD, and FICO modules.

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT configuration experience working with SAP Logistics functionality, including master data, Carrier/Courier design, Consolidations, Commercial Invoicing, WorldEase, and Authorization.

  • 3+ years of work experience in a post go-live environment, including experience in resolving issues and implementing enhancements.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 3+ years of work experience working within a SOX compliant environment, supporting business processes, and creating documentation that follow strict guidelines.

  • Working knowledge with BADI’s, BAPI’s, Routines, and other enhancement objects. Ability to interpret ABAP language, identify optimization opportunities, and debug incidents.

  • Experience working with various global carriers and couriers, including working through Customs’ requirements, commercial invoicing, IOR’s, Freight Forwarders, etc..

The salary range for this role is ideally $100,000-120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
