Senior Sales Support Specialist

What does a great Senior Sales Support Specialist do?

Sales Support associates provide services to both Sales Management and Business Consultants to assist with establishing and servicing merchant processing accounts. Sales Support’s purpose is to provide quick and accurate information and resolution via phone, chat, and through written requests, in a demanding environment. Responsibilities include the setup of new accounts and/or deployment of accounts, contract/pricing review, resolving issues and questions related to inventory and credit issues. Sales teams depend on the detailed knowledge of Sales Support on policy and procedures and an understanding of the client operation. Associates have firsthand knowledge of the latest products and technologies, remaining current on company implementations and change. As a liaison between the Business Consultant and other internal departments, Sales Support associates are expected to become familiar with many other aspects of the business.

What you would do:

  • Collaborate with Business Consultants to ensure an exceptional Client experience throughout the Client lifecycle.

  • Receive and resolve pre-sale and post-sale inquiries from Business Consultants.

  • Receive and resolve inquiries from an assigned portfolio of Clients via multiple channels including phone, chat & e-mail.

  • Engage various areas within Fiserv, when necessary, to obtain information and resolve issues.

  • Monitor key account performance indicators and proactively engage and work with Clients to prevent or limit service issues.

  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of products, services, funding and chargeback disputes.

  • Provide Sales education & training on various Client products, systems, and equipment.

What you would need to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in the financial industry in either Customer Service, Sales Support or administration functions.

What would be nice to have:

  • Advanced Excel skills desired with the ability to create spreadsheets and manipulate databases.

  • Experience in all Microsoft Office Suite

  • Time management skills

  • Experience working in a team environment

Salary Range:

$36,600.00-$50,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
