The Research Assistant will assist the Principle Investigator and the research activities on the Cannabis Health and Fitness Laboratory Research Team. The incumbent will support recruitment and retention research activities and research assessment activities for the cohort study “Effects of Cannabinoids on Subclinical Cardiovascular Disease Risk” among 18-34 year olds.
Responsibilities:
Assist with recruitment and retention of 18-34 year old cannabis consumers
Screening and schedule participants
Communicate with local cannabis dispensaries
Assist in preparation of study updates.
Assist in implementation of quality assurance procedures
Assist in screening, consenting, and assessment of study participants.
Consent and complete assessments
Ensure biospecimens are delivered to the proper locations after assessment.
Communication with clinical partners
Assist with recruitment and retention of 18-34 year old cannabis consumers
Assist in preparation of study updates.
Assist in implementation of quality assurance procedures

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Minimum 2 year of relevant experience
