The Director, Football Scouting Administration works in concert with the Player Personnel, Recruiting and football staff on all operational aspects of the Recruiting Department – including prospect identification, logistical support for official/unofficial visits, and all scheduling/planning efforts. This individual also supervises the part-time staff that supports the Recruiting and Personnel Staff.

The Director, Football Scouting Administration reports to the Executive Director of Football and is responsible for managing the evaluation of PSA’s for incoming freshmen, transfers, & walk-ons. The incumbent will assist the Director of Player Personnel & Executive Director of Football-Recruiting with various functions and in particular oversee the process of transcript evaluation in conjunction with academics and compliance.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Aid in the identification, evaluation and organization of prospective student-athlete film and information assigned by Director of Player Personnel

  • Edit and prepare prospective student-athlete film for staff use. Execute special film projects as designated by Director of Player Personnel or individual coaches.

  • Assist with maintaining the organization and accuracy of the ARMS recruiting database including biographical information, evaluations, communications and any other pertinent data.

  • Assist with maintaining the organization and accuracy of all recruiting boards.

  • Execute miscellaneous recruiting studies and projects as assigned by the Director of Player Personnel.

  • Provide all-purpose logistical support during official and unofficial visits on campus, including campus tours, registration, airport transportation, hotel preparation for official visits, etc.

  • Aid in the preparation and execution of game day recruiting functions at the stadium, including logistical setup & breakdown, prospect escort, and facilitation of seating arrangements.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director, Player Personnel Follows NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations.

  • Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.

  • Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Certification and Licensing:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in college athletics and football specifically

  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet assigned deadlines.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
