Job Status: Year Round Full Time

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,384.62 to $2,563.46+ biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. May be eligible for a discretionary bonus annually Benefits: This position is eligible to enroll in company subsidized medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, HSA, life/disability options; season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Job Summary:

The Manager of Innovative Environments and Progression will be responsible for the overall design, build and maintain the operations of the innovation and progression of our innovative environments Woodward Copper. This person will provide leadership, administration, coordination, and guidance on all area surfaces, while providing a fun, safe environment for guests and employees. Surface areas include snow slopes & parks, and a variety of indoor/outdoor surfaces such as skate parks, indoor gym floor, and dirt surfaces. This position will partner closely with Ski/Ride School, Woodward, Events and the Mountain Operations team. The Manager will facilitate the guest experience by creating efficiency and flow through all Freestyle Terrain at Copper Mountain, with a focus on progression and teaching

Basic Requirements:

Must have advance skiing or snowboarding skills Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to ski/ride with tools or equipment Must have the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to supervise and perform nighttime job responsibilities on standard swing and graveyard shifts. Must have a valid US Driver's license

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

3 years' general construction and/or heavy equipment experience 5 years' Supervisory and/or Management experience 5 years' of Terrain Park, Half Pipe and/or Slope Maintenance experience Experience operating light and general construction/maintenance equipment and vehicles including dozers, loaders, heavy trucks and snow cats. Advanced knowledge in heavy construction such as slope dozing and infrastructure installation. Construction management experience with ability to read, understand and adjust complex engineering drawings. Working knowledge of surveying techniques. Advanced knowledge of snow or snow science. Knowledge in mechanics.
