Job Description

We are currently seeking a Credit Manager to work in our Coppell, TX headquarters. This position reports to the Director of Finance. This person will manage the Credit and Collections team and associated processes, ensuring appropriate risk management of the Accounts Receivable portfolio.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

•Directs the review and analysis of customer accounts to meet DSO and collection goals.

•Coaching and development of team of 6 Credit and AR Analysts.

•Manages the collection efforts of aged balances to ensure proper controls in place for timely resolution of open AR items, along with leading the monthly write-off process.

•Responsible for leading offshore Cash Application team and timely posting of cash receipts against AR.

•Drives automation and efficiency in processes across the team and implementation of new projects in collaboration with IT.

•Participation in weekly cash flow forecasting and budgeting

•Collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure escalated topics are resolved in a timely fashion.

•Prepares month-end reports for Senior Leadership, as well as customer-specific projects.

•Liaison for audit requests from both internal and external auditors.

•Ad-hoc projects as required (Move customers from check payment to ACH)

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

•Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Accounting/Finance preferred.

•Minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated management experience in credit, collections or accounts receivable preferred

•Able to handle difficult or challenging credit / collection situations with diplomacy, tact and professionalism .

•Exceptional people leader with experience developing high performing teams

•Able to work in a very fast paced environment and meet deadlines.

•Proven analytical experience with high aptitude for research and analysis

•Outstanding problem-solving and verbal / written communication skills

•Ability to act independently and make recommendations and/or decisions

•SAP experience is highly valuable; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (a must), Word and PowerPoint required
