As a Data & AI Advisor, you work with our customers to identify, document, and translate their business strategy and requirements into solutions and services that enable them to achieve their business goals using Data and AI solutions. You will engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and contribute to shape the strategic direction on how companies leverage data to make improved strategic decisions. You balance costs, capacities, and risks to achieve an optimal solution.

What you'll do

• As a Data & AI professional assigned to a client project, you will typically work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, integrating intelligent processes into existing business processes and solution planning to help our customers achieve their goals.

• Assist clients in their journey to Microsoft Azure or leverage their existing investment in it - you can expect a significant focus on applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies.

• Play a key role in Avanade's sales process with the responsibility for shaping the high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject matter experts in the business.

• As a senior member of the Avanade technical community, you will provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire your colleagues from within your team and across the organization.

The scope of the projects can include various data (including IoT) and Artificial Intelligence components, such as Data Engineering, Data Modelling, Machine Learning, Data Interaction and Visualization, all on the Microsoft Azure platform. If you are suitable for this role, you are an advisor to the customer that they can trust in this area and help them in the complicated and exciting world of data. 

Skills and experiences

• You have a strong professional background within Data & AI / as a Data & AI professional

• You have experience in guiding the client to make the right technology choices for their solutions using AI, Data, Azure and DevOps.

• You can communicate your passion and knowledge about Analytics to stakeholders in a non-technical way and lead the development team building the solution.

• You are passionate about the latest evolvements in the Data & AI space on Azure, like the recent announcement of Microsoft Fabric, and also other existing services like Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Purview, Generative AI and Cognitive Services.

• You have knowledge of (relational) databases, data modelling, reporting, data- and delta-lakes, metadata and ETL’s.

• You have strong team collaboration and experience working with, and coaching, (remote) teams.

• You speak a Scandinavian language and English fluently.
