Job Title: 1st Shift Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

We are looking for skilled 1st Shift Welder/Fabricators to join our team. You will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule on the first shift from the following options: 05:00AM-2:30PM (Monday-Thursday), 06:00AM-3:30PM (Monday-Thursday), or 05:00AM-3:30PM (Monday-Thursday) with an additional 05:00AM-10:00AM on Friday. There is no mandatory work on Saturdays or Sundays, with Saturdays being voluntary. You will be fabricating custom conveyors for a variety of manufacturing companies, performing MIG welding based on blueprints, and handling grinding and HI-Lo operations. This role requires both independent work and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Verify weldments are within specifications using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.

• Move parts into position either manually or with a hoist or crane.

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts following blueprints and layout specifications.

• Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, form, punch, and drill components using handheld plasma cutters, grinders, drill presses, and iron workers.

• Lay out and examine weldments to ensure specifications are met.

• Position or tighten braces, clamps, or bolt straps to secure parts for welding.

• De-burr, prep, and tag parts and weldments for the next process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
