Performs skilled, semi-skilled and manual work to assist Maintenance Supervisor in support of the operation, maintenance and repair of the City's public works and public utility systems and infrastructure. The department's major infrastructure includes: city streets/alleys/parking lots/sidewalks, park grounds and amenities, the storm sewer system, the municipal water treatment/distribution and wastewater treatment/collection systems, and city-owned landscape/areas. Operates a wide variety of tools/equipment/machinery. Participates, as an active partner, in the City's and department's workplace safety and emergency response efforts.
