Leasing Agent

General Office Responsibilities:

• Present vacant & occupied properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreement.
• Market properties accurately and take professional photos and post through appfolio, rently and Carmls.
• Sustain a 5% vacancy rate.
• Establish rental rates by researching local markets and calculating costs to ensure fair and accurate pricing.

{=html} <!-- --> - Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of customers in order to match those needs to a property. - Create and work guest cards. - Put out lockboxes and signs. - Complete pre-move out inspections.

{=html} <!-- --> - Process Applications to approve the BEST tenant for the property. - Orientation scheduled for each tenant to take possession of the property. - Coordinate with maintenance on inspections and rent readies. - Oversee Lease renewals & tenant retention - Educate and procure tenants to become home buyers. - Solicit for new rentals to property mange. - Any other tasks required by management.

Leasing Agent Qualifications

• Hold current Real Estate License or work to attain one.
• Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
• Past sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
