Old Dominion Freight Line Maintenance Facilities Repair Specialist in Conley, Georgia

Perform general maintenance and maintain the overall conditions and cleanliness of the maintenance shops.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Keep cleaning equipment and facilities operational, safe, and in compliance with all relevant codes by scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs

  • Responsible for the regular repairs of maintenance shop related equipment such as pallet jacks, welders, air tools etc.

  • Responsible for facilities related updates and repairs such as shop doors, fuel island upkeep, etc.

  • Follow the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance schedules and keep records of the maintenance that is performed

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed or arrange with outside repair vendors such as plumbers, etc.

  • Keep all fire extinguisher inspections current

  • Follow all safety guidelines for equipment and materials used in the course of daily work

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar role

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in stressful situations

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, mechanical and electrical issues

  • Forklift experience preferred
