Our Client, a Globally recognized Media & Entertainment giant, is seeking a Technical BA to provide guidance to the teams across their NextGen Tech initiative. This position will focus on acting as the key interface between the Product team, Engineering, and the project manager. The Business Analyst will gather information, document processes, and write user stories for the Engineering teams.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $62 - $72 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis and Documentation
Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
Create and manage technical tickets to support team workflows and maintain alignment with project scope.
Ticket Refinement and Scoping
Create technical requirements based on Product team feature set requirements
Oversee the ticket refinement process to ensure tasks are well-defined and actionable.
Collaborate closely with engineers to scope both backend-heavy and client-side requests, ensuring feasibility and technical alignment.
Cross-Team Collaboration and Technical Configuration Management
Ensure data contracts and endpoints are properly established to meet project requirements.
Draft and assign tickets for upstream teams as necessary.
Manage and maintain configuration files to enable seamless changes without requiring multiple code releases.
Support for QA Team
Assist the QA team in understanding the different feature work completed
Aid in creating technical test plans
Participate in testing various features
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-functional teams
Possesses the skills, knowledge and aptitude to engage and direct all functions involved in the development of the assigned product.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates an ability to act in a changing environment.
Experience in developing a roadmap of requirements.
Experience collaborating across teams
Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out in any way possible
Strong attention to detail and ability to lead multiple sub-projects at once
Expertise in modern project management tools and standard methodologies, such as Agile/CSM and planning tools
Highly Qualified Applicants will have:
A passion for sports
Relevant experience within the sports media industry
Experience working with Mobile and Connected Device Development, AVOD, TVOD and SVOD
Familiarity with platform specific design guidelines and partner integrations
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree is highly desired
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
