Oracle Principal Financial Analyst Global Consulting in Concord, New Hampshire

Job Description

As a member of Oracle Global Business Finance (GBF), you will help design, implement, and adopt process efficiencies, systems, reporting and analysis. This role is a part of the team responsible for providing finance support to the Oracle Global Services Initiatives, a key part of the Oracle Services Business. Your contributions will impact the entire Oracle Consulting team WW.

  • Support Consulting Global Process Owner Initiatives and the Transformation team

  • Drive standardization and automation projects (processes documentation, trainings, change management)

  • Develop an understanding of critical business services key performance drivers

  • Must be able to leverage the larger Oracle Finance, Technical & Operations communities effectively, gather and analyze information and resolve business issues across the organization

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ensure data quality and accuracy of Executive reporting

  • Participate in quarter end activities as necessary

  • Proactively drive analysis on key trends and understand business drivers behind the trends

  • Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis

YEAR ONE CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Learning about Global Services Processes, Tools and KPIs

  • Develop strong relationships with Finance, IT and Ops Services teams

  • Be a key member of the Services finance team being able to take the Lead on some Global projects

Responsibilities

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Finance support of Services functions

  • Finance knowledge managing a full P&L

  • Strong communication/presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong Business Partnering with other Services Functions and Project Management skills

  • Excellent analytic skills, process orientation, attention to detail and quality

  • Project Management experience - proven ability to work well in a fast pace growing cross-functional team

  • Self-directed, agile, proactive with ability to multi-task

  • Energetic and positive attitude in the face of stress

  • Be able to translate a complex situation in an Executive Summary

  • Ability to analyze and process high volumes of information and prepare meaningful management reporting

EDUCATION

  • BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA or CPA a plus

  • Minimum 6 years finance/accounting experience (MBA is equivalent to two years’ experience)

  • Strong Excel and good PowerPoint skills

  • Not required but nice to have Oracle internal tool skills: DV Silver/Gold badge, PFM, Dataflow tools, BI, EPM and FPA

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
