Oracle Director, Cloud Global Process Owner in Concord, New Hampshire

Job Description

The Global Business Revenue Operations organization is looking to add a Global Process Owner (GPO) Director role in a critical new Cloud pillar within the organization. Global process owners (GPOs) are responsible for determining the most efficient process for their area of focus as well as identifying ongoing improvements. In addition, they continuously monitor and improve the process, paying close attention to the way it impacts the broader employee and manager experiences for everyone, including applicants and customers, both inside and outside of Oracle.

This person will bring extensive industry experience and perspectives, having the ability to translate those into real world business requirements. It will specialize in the creation of business process roadmaps, to increase productivity by optimizing operational processes, launch & release of new operational initiatives, and business expansion of new areas. This role will have areas of focus on all Cloud Services across our business. This role will report to the Senior Director of Cloud Global Processes (GPO).

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include

  • Lead and participate in executive level discussions related to industry perspectives, experience, and business requirements.

  • Define & scope long term operational strategy and vision for assigned function.

  • Demonstrates deep market understanding of cloud offerings across competitive vendors.

  • Serves as subject matter expert for cloud sales and consumption management processes.

  • Drives standardization for our process design and review.

  • Develops guidance for post-sales implementation standards to accelerate renewals and consumption.

  • Seeks opportunities to drive global standardization for forecasting revenue

  • Work cross-functionally to gather support, alignment and inputs from Global Systems Owner, Global Business Practices and Global Business Finance, incorporating them into our strategy/roadmap.

  • Ensure all business processes meet our compliance & audit requirements.

  • Expert adviser to the Global Systems Owner and leadership on defining the business processes to support key business objectives and initiatives.

  • Prioritize business drivers to influence enhancements and fixes across the end-to-end process such as policy, process, operations, systems, and tools.

  • Ensure documentation of all critical end to end processes meets standards and requirements as per the business needs.

  • Comprehensive communications plan to for upcoming releases & launches

  • Assist Testing teams on quality assurance before they sign off for production.

  • Understand current operational business models for the Cloud business.

  • Understand business & market trends, bring them to bear to influence the operational efficiencies and roadmaps

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Cloud industry knowledge/strong understanding of cloud - how customer consumes services.

  • Relevant business process ownership experience - end to end.

  • Strong cross functional/cross line of business experience - influencing others

  • Ability to manage multiple business process projects

  • Strong business acumen

  • Change management

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $109,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
