Support the Develop, design, build, test, and inspect systems, assemblies, and components of new and existing products. Duties and Responsibilities 1)Track progress on individual projects and tasks (keep a personal action item list). 2)Support and be involved in generating and maintaining of designs of systems, assemblies, and components of new and existing products. 3)Support and be involved in generating and maintaining CAD data within the configuration control system and SOP. 4)Perform structural and thermal analysis of designs. 5)Participate in and conduct design reviews with Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer. 6)Be actively involved through prototype and early production build of new products. 7)Release CAD data and generate Engineering Change Notices for new and legacy products through formal document control system. 8)Maintain tools and work environment for optimal performance and safety.Position Requirements Experience Required: 1+ year hands on experience in product development / manufacturing / engineering. Education Required: BSME or equivalent (Required) Skills/Competencies: Proficient in 3D CAD for modeling, drafting and analysis. Experience with the design and development of electronic products and injection molded components. Working knowledge in manufacturing methods. Work Environment: Mainly Office environment, will visit Engineering lab and Production floor, will come into contact with mechanical and electronic components Physical Demands: Ability to operate office equipment, sit, stand, bend, reach and on occasion lift a maximum of 40 lbs.
